About Ann 👋

Juna’s Founder

Ann began teaching so that English language learners around the world have the guidance they need to improve their accents. She has a deep awareness of how sounds are made and uses techniques such as shadowing to work on individual sounds, rhythm, intonation, voice placement and other aspects of speech to help her students become confident that they are being understood. She’s worked with employees of major companies, small business owners, as well as with children and families navigating ESL in the school system. Her enthusiasm for teaching stems from her interest in people and learning about the unique challenges that different languages present as they encounter the American English phonics system.
